Stephanie Wehrung

Stephanie Wehrung is Visual Journalism, International Relations, Spanish triple major who loves working on new, challenging projects and is constantly on the go. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Stephanie focused on earning the acclaimed International Baccalaureate degree in high school while balancing sports and a growing love for photography. In high school, she also often traveled to Siguatepeque, Honduras to build schools, and in the process found her love and inspiration for both international relations and photojournalism.
Currently a junior at the University of Miami, Stephanie was very excited to join the Knight Center staff this past Fall 2008 and become involved in many interesting projects. At the present moment, Stephanie is also working on an individual documentary/multimedia project and will be documenting high-speed trains in Europe and their influence to the environment. This project will be filmed and completed during the Spring of 2009 while she studies abroad at La Universidad de Granada in Spain.
