Trevor Green
Video Editor and Operations Assistant

Trevor Green is Video Editor and Operations Assistant at the University of Miami School of Communication’s Knight Center for International Media. He joined the School of Communication staff in April 2008. Trevor supports undergraduate and graduate students on visual communication projects and maintains the Knight Center convergence lab Facilities.
Trevor Green received his B.A. from the University of Miami with a double major in Video/Film and Religion. He received the School of Communication Rex Pompadur Award, the Community Service Award for Outstanding Senior. Trevor has also studied film internationally in London, England and Melbourne, Australia.
Trevor helped teach “Acting in Front of the Camera” at the University of Miami for four years and currently conducts video editing workshops for students at the Knight Center. He has also been involved in creating oral histories of Miami with the Department of History at the University of Miami. In 2005, Trevor wrote, directed, and produced the independent film, “The Miami River,” which won Best in Show at the University of Miami Viscom Awards. He founded his own production company, “W.E.P. Productions,” producing television and film projects including commercials and instructional videos. Trevor is an avid traveler and has enjoyed visiting many countries in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. In his spare time, he volunteers with the non-profit school readiness program, Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters.
