Former National Geographic Director of Photography and Managing Editor of Washington Post/Newsweek Interactive speaks about his and the visual journalism profession's transition to the digital age. Mr. Kennedy uses examples from his illustrious career to shed light on the future of journalism and lay out the 20 lessons he has learned from his experiences. Kennedy is currently a Resident Professional at the Knight Center for International Media at the School of Communication, University of Miami. This lecture took place on February 17, 2010 as part of the School of Communication's annual "Communication Week."
