The Kultkino Atelier Theater in Basel, Switzerland, will be screening a special session of the film "One Water" on Saturday, Jan. 31, as part of the 2009 Basel_Karlsruhe Forum on Educational and Societal TV and Media.

Following the screening, there will be a discussion with Sanjeev Chatterjee, producer, writer and co-director, and Ali Habashi, editor and co-director, as well as, Emanuela Gasbarroni, independent director/producer, Clemens Messerschmid, hydrogeologist, Ali Oumarou, Cirtef's general manager, and Vassili Silovic, Point du Jour's producer.

Filmed in 15 countries in both hemispheres, "One Water" is collaboration among the University of Miami's School of Communication, the Frost School of Music and the College of Engineering.

The film celebrates all the myriad ways water has touched human lives around the globe and explores people's changing relationship to water as it grows ever more perilously scarce.
